Metabolic Reprogramming and Redox Regulation in Drug Resistance
Increasing evidence indicates that metabolic reprogramming and redox regulation play critical roles in cancer drug resistance. To highlight recent advances in this field, the editors of Cancer Drug Resistance have selected a series of research articles and reviews published in 2024–2025, focusing on metabolic alterations, ferroptosis and cuproptosis regulation, emerging resistance biomarkers, and therapeutic strategies targeting metabolic vulnerabilities. This collection provides insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying drug resistance and offers valuable perspectives for the development of novel approaches to overcome treatment resistance in cancer
