Special Topic Introduction
The XiaoXiang-International Cardiology Conference (X2-ICC 2027) will be held from March 5 to 7, 2027, in Changsha, serving as an important international platform for interdisciplinary exchange in cardiovascular medicine. The conference brings together cardiologists, physicians, researchers, technicians, nurses, general practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to share recent advances and foster academic collaboration.
As a Conference Supplement Issue, this collection aims to highlight key scientific contributions associated with X2-ICC 2027, reflecting the most recent progress, innovative findings, and translational developments presented during the meeting.
The scope of this issue includes, but is not limited to, atherosclerosis and coronary artery disease, cardiovascular metabolism, pulmonary vascular diseases, interventional cardiology, cardiovascular immunology, inflammation, and cardiac remodeling. We also particularly welcome submissions on emerging and frontier topics such as precision medicine, artificial intelligence in cardiology, structural heart disease, and novel therapeutic strategies.
