Topic: A Decade of Vessel Plus: Past, Now and Future Perspectives in Vascular Medicine

Vascular diseases, including atherosclerosis, aneurysm, aortic dissection, thrombosis and pulmonary vascular disorders, together with related cerebrocardiovascular diseases, continue to impose a substantial health burden worldwide. In recent years, depended understanding in vascular biology, cardiovascular medicine, immunology, metabolism, mechanobiology, and rapid advances translational research have significantly contributed to prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of vascular and cerebrocardiovascular diseases.

Vessel Phus was founded in 2017 to provide an international scientific platform to publish related novel discoveries and progresses in vascular and cerebrocardiovascular science. Over the past decade, the journal has grown alongside progresses from bench to clinic in these fields.

At the special moment of the 10th Vessel Plus anniversary, it is our pleasure to announce this commemorative special issue: A Decade of Vessel Plus: Past, Now and Future Perspectives in Vascular Medicine. We hope this issue could provide a valuable opportunity for researchers and clinicians to cover recent advances and emerging perspectives across vascular and cerebrocardiovascular research.

We welcome original contributions and reviews addressing, but not limited to the following key thematic areas:

● Vascular remodeling and structural vascular diseases, including pulmonary hypertension, aneurysm formation, and aortic dissection;

● Endothelial–smooth muscle cell interactions and vascular homeostasis;

● Vascular inflammation and innate immune mechanisms invascular and cardiovascular diseases;

● Epigenetic, transcriptional, and post-transcriptional regulation in vascular pathology;

● Metabolic and mechanobiological regulation of vascular function, including ion channel–mediated signaling;

● Translational strategies and therapeutic innovations for vascular diseases.
