Prof. Mark K. Wax, MD, is Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Oregon Health and Science University. He serves as the Director of Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery, and Editor-in-Chief of Plastic and Aesthetic Research (PAR). He has previously held the prestigious titles of President of the American Society of Head and Neck Surgeons, President of the American Association of Otolaryngologists, and Chair of the American Microvascular Committee.

Biography
Dr. Andrés Bur is a head and neck oncologic and reconstructive surgeon at the University of Kansas Medical Center, specializing in microvascular free tissue transfer and complex reconstruction for patients with advanced head and neck cancer. He co-directs the Head and Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship and serves as Vice Chair of Technology and Innovation in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, where he leads digital health and surgical innovation initiatives. A nationally recognized researcher, Dr. Bur focuses on applying artificial intelligence to cancer care, with work supported by the National Cancer Institute and the Kansas Institute for Precision Medicine.
