In June, MRR saw a steady increase in its CiteScore 2024, rising to 3.3, and is now ranked in Q3 within Immunology and Microbiology: Microbiology (Scopus).

In August, MRR was officially accepted for inclusion in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI, Web of Science).

2023

In December, MRR was officially indexed in PubMed Central^® (PMC) and Scopus.

In November, 10 Editorial Board Members from Italy, Ireland, the USA, Spain, the UK, and the Netherlands have been recognized as ''Highly Cited Researchers'' by Clarivate Analytics.

2022

The inaugural issue was officially released online in March 2022. On Nov 11 2022, MRR became a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Microbiome Research Reports (MRR) was officially released online on July 26, 2021 with Prof. Marco Ventura from University of Parma as the Editor-in-Chief.
